Rolls Royce considers fuel cells for Singapore

Power systems developer and manufacturer Rolls Royce is considering setting up part of its fuel cell business in Singapore, local press have reported.

The Straits Times said that the Rolls Royce group was considering manufacturing fuel cells in the country with plans for two production plants being looked at.

"We are in discussions about locating elements of manufacturing here," the paper quoted Rolls Royce chief executive John Rose as saying.

"We hope to come to a conclusion on that within the next few months."
