Proton Motor Fuel Cell (PM) is a European enterprise specialising in PEM fuel cell technology. PM’s business is the development and production of fuel cell systems including stacks, balance of plant, and integration. In particular, this has led to the production of fuel cell-powered buses and industrial trucks. For these applications PM pioneered the fc hybrid system by the combination with batteries or/and ultra capacitors.
PM offers a complete system for future mobility – first realised in a row of urban busses designed for zero-emission fuel cell drive systems. Moreover, PM develops and produces fuel cell systems for other commercial vehicles and for stationary applications, mainly in hybrid configurations.
The company has showcased fuel cell powered vehicles like buses and a fuel cell powered fork lift truck, jointly developed with Still and Linde, which was successfully tested at Munich Airport. Further vehicles are under work.
PM is a subsidiary of the UK based Proton Power Systems plc, listed at the London Stock Exchange.
