The inaugural China International Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Investment and Trade Expo (HFCE 2007) took place between the 21st July and 23rd July 2007 at the Shanghai Everbright Convention and Exhibition Center.

When Fuel Cell Today was asked to participate in the Expo as the English language media partner, it was an opportunity not to be missed. China has long been identifi ed as an emerging economic and social superpower, and here was a chance to fi nd out if the Chinese domestic fuel cell industry matched the scale and ambitions of the nation as a whole. When you think about major national fuel cell industries, for most people China does not rank alongside the United States, Japan or Canada - but maybe this is about to change........
