HyForum is a conference series held regularly. The first time was a great success in Munich, Germany in year 2000. Successful HyForum 2004 took place in Beijing, China in 2004 with more than 600 participants. Since HyForum 2004 some great progresses took place in China, such as fuel cell buses are now running in Beijing, several hydrogen filling stations have built in China and others. In order to push hydrogen into real life, HyForum 2008 is designed to be interdisciplinary because, only when all relevant groups in society cooperate with one another, can the challenges be realized. There will be contributions made by scientists, engineers, politicians, consultants, members of the business community and as well as financial service providers. This approach is intrinsically unique to HYFORUM.
By supporting of Ministry of Science and Technology of China and Ministry of Education of China, HyForum 2008 will take place in Changsha city, China on 3-6 August 2008 just before Olympic game. China will prove hydrogen technology in the Olympic Games 2008 in Beijing. China is the most populous and the most dynamic economic country in the world. Hope Hyforum2008 will be powerful catalyst for China Hydrogen progress and show it in EXPO 2010 in Shanghai, China.
